Cusco - km 82 - Huayllabamba
We begin our tour early, picking you up at your hotel in Cusco or in the sacred valley, to begin this extraordinary adventure. 2.5-hour transportation, passing captivating viewpoints until reaching the Inca Trail checkpoint at km 82. From there, we begin our invigorating hike to Miskay, where a delicious lunch awaits us. Continuing our walk, we will reach the impressive archaeological site of Patallacta, followed by Wayllabamba. Here, we set up camp and enjoyed a well-deserved night’s rest, preparing for the next day’s exploration.
Wayllabamba – Warmiwañuska – Pacaymayu
We will begin our exciting uphill hike, considered the most challenging day, lasting 5 hours until we reach the Warmiwañuska (Dead Woman) pass. At this point we will offer you a well-deserved rest, where you can appreciate the impressive views of the beautiful landscapes that surround us. Later we will descend for 2 hours until we reach Pacaymayo, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch and spend the night in this cozy place.
Pacaymayo – Puyupatamarca – Wiñaywayna
Very different experience on this hike to the majestic Abra de Runcurakay pass at an impressive altitude of 3970 meters above sea level. It will take us 2 hours to get here, we will rest and then descend to explore the archaeological center of Sayacmarca with its captivating structure and enjoy a delicious lunch 10 minutes from Sayacmarca. and then we will venture through highly preserved Inca trails, intricately carved tunnels within solid rock as we head towards the enigmatic city in the clouds, “Puyupatamarca”. At the end you will descend to the impressive altitude of 2700 meters above sea level in Wiñayhuayna, impressive Inca terraces and sacred areas. dinner, a delicious afternoon tea.
Wiñaywayna- Machupicchu -Cusco
Early in the morning our exciting hike to Machupicchu begins. We will walk towards Inti Punku, also known as the Puerta del Sol, where we will witness the first majestic view of Machupicchu in this incredible place. Once we arrive at Machu Picchu, our expert guide will take us throughout the archaeological center, giving you a lot of information and fascinating stories. After this unforgettable experience, we will return by train to Ollantaytambo station, where our dedicated team will be eagerly waiting to accompany you to your hotel in Cusco.
